END
According to reliable reports UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Ms. Navanethem Pillay, who took office only this week was unimpressed by the GOSL lobby group. It was more than obvious that Sri Lanka is very worried of international sanctions, both in trade, and diplomacy.
The EU will decide on whether they will continue with the GSP PLUS concessions to Sri Lanka for another 3 years. Many experts believe EU will act strongly against Sri Lanka, and impose certain restrictions such as removal of GSP PLUS concessions due to the gross violation of human rights in Sri Lanka.
