Try as they might the Bandula Jayasekeras and the Mahindas of the world – whether Rajapakse or Gunesekara cannot stop Canadian Tamils from paying homage to their fallen heroes, the brave Tamil freedom fighters who died fighting to liberate the Tamil homeland in the island of Sri Lanka. The mass of people who attended the Maveerar Remembrance Day event in Canada on 27, November 2008 is once again a clear signal to all Tamil detractors that their shenanigans won’t work. They must know that any attempt on their part to foil, that which Canadian Tamils hold dear will not succeed. And honoring the fallen freedom fighters is a ritual that all freedom loving Tamils consider to be sacred, that which is religiously performed by them as a bounden duty, a manifestation born out of their yearning to see their homeland, Tamil Eelam free.
The continuing stream of faithful followers saluting their fallen heroes the “Maveerar” was seemingly inexhaustible and endless, which at one point had to be halted by public announcements with the event venue doors being closed to prevent more people entering and an order for at least quarter of the crowd to leave the inside of the building, only due to issues of fire safety and similar such hazards arising from crowds swelling well over capacity at the huge Pearson Convention Center. This massive show of people power is enough to silence the critics and shut any doubters, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt, the implicit faith that Canadian Tamils place in their freedom fighters. No force on earth can stop them from performing this very sacred ritual, be it Bandula Jayasekera, the new Sri Lankan Consul General, doing over time for his pay master, Sri Lankan president Mahinda Rajapakse and working in tandem with another ultra racist cum Sinhalese chauvinist, Mahinda Gunesekara the honorary president of the Sri Lanka United National Association of Canada, well known to be leading the anti- Tamil propaganda machinery in Canada; or any of their kind, the so called “highly suspect” and “pitifully puny” Canadian Democratic Tamil Association.
Bandula Jayasekera and his co-conspirators had tried hard to stop the many events taking place to honour the Maveerar which is celebrated also as a day of “Tamil Uprising for Freedom” which falls on the day after the much loved and revered Tamil Leader, Velupillai Pirabaharan’s birthday on 26, November. Their bid to prevent the events from taking place by “informing” Canadian law enforcement and intelligence authorities did not have the desired effect. All the events that were planned took place on the scheduled days and at the proposed venues with the blessings of law enforcement and intelligence officers.
Canada is a free country (thank God for it) and truly upholds the Canadian Charter of Rights and on this occasion it was as if the pledge of allegiance to the Charter was renewed yet again. No foreigner or for that matter, no Sri Lankan can come here to Canada and take away the rights of Tamil Canadians on Canadian soil, to honour their own.
Canadian Tamils in their struggle for freedom of their homeland will not break Canadian laws. As much as they would have wished to raise the Tamil Eelam flag and display their beloved leader’s picture, they did not do it. But one thing can be said with certainty. Everyone spoken to, said, they visualized the Tamil Eelam Flag and Their Leader with their mind’s eye and prayed that he would be healthy and alive and lead them to victory. Such is the unwavering faith that Tamils have and there can never be a law to prevent that, no force can stop that which is deeply embedded in the hearts and minds of a people.
As one hears of the mass of people attending similar events taking place all over the Tamil Diaspora, one is heartened but not surprised. Such a profound out pouring of emotion and passion by Tamils unprecedented in terms of any freedom struggles in recent times is reflective of the Tamil people’s genuine yearning to see their homeland Tamil Eelam free; a yearning that’s just and reasonable and should be felt, understood and supported by the rest of the world.

LTTE terrorist leader pays homage on Heroes Day by giving yet another speech of false assurance, when in reality the military is in his backyard. The brutal, fascist and self proclaimed nation of 'EELAM' is under military occupation.
The LTTE has not achieved any thing for the last 30 years, other than fill their pockets with 300 million dollars/yr under the pretext of fighting for the Tamils.
Genocide, horror, chaos and mayhem of Tamils lives continue has long as the LTTE exist with 250,000 innocent lives sacrificed and 350 brainwashed suicide bombers killed to fulfill a madman's dream of a fantasy 'nation for the Tamils' .
The continuing military onslaught is the only solution to either capture or kill this barbarian, the so called 'Sun God' and savior of the Tamil people of Sri Lanka, Mr. Prabhakaran(a man who walks and aspire to be like Hilter).
The GOSL should not compromise with the LTTE under any condition, no ceasefire or laying down of arms should deter the military invasion.
Permanent peace can only be achieved by total and utter destruction of the LTTE with their leaders either captured and tried for 'crimes against humanity' or killed in cold blood..........

The last will of Prabhakaran

In a dying declaration, Prabhakaran writes his own obituary in praise of himself.
He throws a dead rope to the international Tamil community to carry out a rescue operation. The cornered, make believe king of Eelam, once hopeful of extending imaginary borders to encompass a Greater Tamil Nadu, dispatches an SOS from his shrinking kingdom before it passes into oblivion.
His ghost writer presented a script which became worthless at the time he read the contents. An apt phrase was selected as a prelude to his doomed expectations-"Today, there are great changes taking place in India". Unfolding was a drama in India where the pleas of Chennai was checkmated by events in Mumbai. Prabhakaran desperately required a revised script to maintain his own credibility- it was too late and not forthcoming. Fortunes have certainly deserted him. Terrorism in India undid the terrorist in Sri Lanka, in his farewell speech.
He has felt the heat as reflected in his talk-"The land of Tamil Eelam is confronted with an intense war as never before ...... the war is becoming intense and widespread." His stand is loud and clear- "....transformed our land from one that was that was for many years subjugated by foreign rule into a defiant land refusing to submit to a foreign oppressor". There will be no submission, as expected. To his credit he is not an opportunist like the upper echelons of Colombo society shifting positions to fall into the winners lap. Therein is his weakness, lack of flexibility to read and revise his own follies.
This is another rambling repetitive effort to justify himself, where any response will be equally repetitive. In his annual survey he had no achievements to list. This is the year he undid himself most by being the supreme child snatcher of removing forcibly a child from each house to incur the wrath of each householder. He did not have the foresight that a parent's prized possession is the child. A parent was abducted till the child was released to terror. The child had to rescue the parent and offer himself as the bait. The portrait of the Sun God was smeared with his own hands in homes that were once home sweet home to him. Both the parent and child hated him. Prabhkaran destroyed himself in his home electorate. An isolated man knows so little of his surroundings. This is truly reflected in his annual declaration which will be a final valediction unless delivered from across the seas.
He made his own people homeless by demanding they leave their homes before the LTTE lost controlled of its territory. In the house cleansing operation, he cared more to have a human shield to safeguard him, to display to the world that people follow an unseen Moses in jungle fatigue with gun and shot, to scheme a humanitarian issue by inhuman means by creating a wandering band of homeless nomads out of proud house owners. He ethnically cleansed his own ethnic brothers by making them homeless. Not a word of justification of his callous conduct to the people to whom he is offering salvation in his testamentary disposition. Instead it is xenophobic rhetoric to the people drenched in the rain without shelters on his orders. Are you his notary, Mr Sambandan? Who is standing for the rights of the Tamils in the North-the homeless child lost majority? The suffering of the Tamils at the hands of Prabhakaran will surface, once he is no more.
Prabhakaran is driving the people to the lap of the central government. He has dissolved his own popularity among his own followers. The fallacious presentation is obvious to his people as they witness the unfolding reality which they experience. His speech is meant for those beyond his shriveling frontiers to come forth as life guards. On his satellite TV, he would have seen the unfolding pictures of scenes at Taj and Oberoi, which would remind him of Meredian Galadari and the Central Bank contemporaneously with his speech; his wake up call to India will be of no avail. As he spoke, India resolved that the brotherhood of terrorism has to be dismantled for India's own survival. Help in India day dream is over.
Prabakaran is a spent force on his last lap with no lap of honor. His last flight of fancy or fame maybe in a light aircraft.
LTTE inflicted heavy damages - West of Alampil
Troops of 59 Division moving along the eastern axis towards Alampil engaged in heavy confrontations with the LTTE terrorists since this morning (Nov 30). According to the military sources, troops were able to inflict serious damages to the terrorists during these clashes.
Troops during the search operations found three bodies of LTTE cadres along with three T-56 rifles this evening, the sources said.
Alampil is a strategically vital coastal village located about 10 Km, south of LTTE's last bastion Mullaittivu. The LTTE used the village as a launching pad for the seaborne operations in the northeastern coast of the Island. At present, troops of 59 Division on the process of eliminating LTTE hiding places along the northern bank of the Nayaru lagoon and dominating the Kumalamunai- Alampil road. Also, another group of 59 division men have already established their positions on the southern bank of the lagoon.
Mi-24 helicopter gunships launch air assaults at LTTE resistance positions in Kilinochchi
SLAF MI-24 helicopter gunships conducted precision air assaults at identified LTTE resistance positions located at Murukandy, East of Akkarayankulama, Sunday (Nov 30) at around 7a.m.
The air sorties were made in support of the advancing 57 Division infantry battalions, Air Force Spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said.
5 more Tamil civilians escape from LTTE hell hole in Wanni
[Click to magnify/shrink] 5 more Tamil civilians including a family of four have fled from LTTE and sought protection with security forces at the Omanthai Entry/Exit point in Vavuniya.
4 civilians, including parents and two youth have arrived at Omanthai, yesterday (28) evening after fleeing from LTTE in the Mullaittivu district. The civilians were from Visuamadu area the sources said adding that one youth was a forcibly recruited to the LTTE, who had later managed to escape during initial training in the Mullaittivu jungles.
"I was abducted by the organisation(LTTE) 3 months ago", the youth, Chandrakumar,20, has said with our correspondent. "They stormed into our home and took me away in broad daylight despite continuous pleas from my parents to set me free," Chandrakuma was quoted saying.
"I was taken to a tiger training camp at Visuamadu, where I received basic weapon training for 45 days. There were many like me who were also abducted by the organisation(LTTE), including 10-11 year olds. The training was rigorous and we were severely beaten for the slightest mistakes made. Girls were kept separately and only the seniors had access to the area, which was restricted for the rest. We were constantly told to hate the Army and the Sinhalese people. I could not bear any more of the suffering and things got worse as the Army had cutoff supply routes into the area. Some were sent to loot the food supplies sent for the wanni people. They were said that it was a part of their initial training. Things got much clear as we spent more time with them (LTTE).
The seniors used us to get food supplies for themselves as they feared military ambush. I had already decided to free myself and used the first opportunity I got to flee from them. Its like a miracle to feel free and here I'am with my parents", Chanrakumar cutshort as emotions turned to tears.
The other civilian was a male from Oddusdan general area, Mullaittivu, and had arrived at the Entry/Exit point today (Nov 29). According to latest figures received, over 350 civilians have fled from LTTE in Kilinochchi and Mullaittivu districts and sought protection with security forces at Jaffna and Vavuniya, since 18th November 2008.
