LTTE's Nadesan says The "Politically Correct" things in praising TN CM Karunanithi

LTTE has to and is forced into Tamil Nadu Politics.

Chennai - B. Nadesan, the political leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) told Kumutham reporter that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister (CM) Kalaingar. M. Karunanithi he is a responsible father figure, always assists Eelam Tamils and their plights express concerns when matters. He always stays within the parameter of Democratic principles and assists Eelam Tamils when they are in difficulties. B. Nadesan gave an interview to the Tamil Nadu popular weekly magazine, Kumutham recently.

When he was asked by the Kumutham reporter about the story of the LTTE is targeting to kill Tamil Nadu former chief minister Dr. J. Jeyalalitha, he said, this kind of baseless rumors were spread by the vested interested parties in Tamil Nadu not only make him personally feel sad, and LTTE says these baseless rumors are purposely planted by interested and anti-LTTE parties to destroy the cordial situations developing in Tamil Nadu for Eelam Tamils and LTTE among the TN leaders and TN masses.

When he was asked to comment on the recent arrests of directors Seeman, Amir and MDMK leaders Vaiko and Kannapan, he said, we would like to see all the people in Tamil Nadu to unite in Eelam Tamils issue and work to alleviate their sufferings and help them to succeed in their struggle. LTTE do not like to get involved in the local politics of Tamil Nadu.

When he was asked about the current uprsisng of Tamil Nadu masses in support of Eelam Tamils, he said Tamil Nadu and India should understand what Eelam Tamils wants and India should come forward to support our stands.

When he was asked what you expect from India, he said, India should revoke the listing of the LTTE in India and recognize us.

When he was asked about the Air attacks by the Sri Lankan Air Force fighter planes over the Vanni after the high profile visit by the Sri Lankan president envoy, Basil Rajapaksa and his promises to the Indian government that, civilians will not be targeted by their forces in their ongoing military operations, he said, contary to the promises by Sri Lanka, SLAF and shelling targets civilian settlements in Vanni daily basis and killing and injuring scores of civilians and also destroying their properties in Vanni.

When he was asked about the current Sri Lankan military operations against LTTE and its relentless advancements in Vanni and LTTE’s defencive war he said, we are fighting for our freedom, it is a freedom movement and we have the responsibility to save our people, when the time is right we will strike the Army hard and liberate our land.
